Making a splash for charity

One of the best things about running your own business is that the ability to choose the charities you support. This year Sarah Hall Consulting has made donations to Epilepsy Action and Tiny Lives and today it was with real pleasure we pledged more than financial support to mental health charity, Mind.

This morning, at 6.45am, MD Sarah Hall joined around 200 people plunging into the North Sea to try and break the world record for the largest number of people skinny dipping together. You might have seen the story on the BBC and Sky Tyne & Wear, or alternatively in the Huffington Post or possibly New Zealand Herald. Coverage was widespread.

The record attempt at Druridge Bay in Northumberland may have failed but there is no doubting the dedication and determination of those present to raise awareness of the charity - while also celebrating the arrival of the Autumn Equinox.

For Sarah it was also a special way to mark her eleventh wedding anniversary with husband Anthony, who took part in the now world-famous skinny dip too.
